1. Initial Phone Call to Discuss Your Needs
Tell us about you and your plans for building or renovating your home, and your construction timeframe.
Expert tip: If you are building a new home, are you opting for a “house and land” package, or will buy land first then build later? Do you understand the impact on your finance application depending on which process you choose?
2. Complete our 'Client Information Form'
Background information on your current financial obligations and construction/renovation budget and goals.
3. Review & Assessment
We’ll review and assess your loan borrowing capacity, equity or deposit position and narrow down suitable lender options tailored to your needs.
4. Written Recommendation
We’ll prepare a written recommendation outlining a shortlist of recommended lenders suited to your individual needs, discuss loan structure and loan repayments that will work best for your financial situation.
5. Loan Application
Once we’ve agreed on the loan for your circumstances, we will complete the application (or pre-approval), provide you with a list of supporting documents the lender will require and submit on your behalf to the lender. Our team will monitor your application progress daily and keep you informed.
6. Builder Progress, Payments and Completion
Renee will be your single point of contact every step of the way, from initial discussion all the way through to getting your house keys upon completion. This includes co-ordinating builder progress payments with the lender and your builder. Post settlement we keep contact with you to help with loan maintenance, general finance inquiries and supporting you to grow equity faster.
